Het principe van de Fidya<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Indien je vanwege je gezondheid niet kan vasten en dit van langdurige aard is dan ben je vrijgesteld van het vasten<\/strong> tijdens de maand ramadan. Als compensatie ben je als je het kan verplicht de Fidya uit te geven<\/strong>. Dit is een bedrag dat door de Raad van de Islamitische Theologen in Belgi\u00eb is vastgelegd op 7 euro, een bedrag waarmee je een behoeftige kunt voeden voor elke niet gevaste dag.<\/p>\n

Het voedselhulpprogramma van de maand ramadan wordt door onze teams 6 maanden voor het begin van de maand ramadan voorbereid zodat we de distributie van de voedselpakketten aan het begin van de gezegende maand effici\u00ebnt kunnen organiseren. Jouw Fidya kan je gedurende de hele maand ramadan wanneer je maar wilt uitgeven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Fidya die aan Karama Solidarity wordt geschonken wordt in voedselpakketten omgezet<\/strong>. Met een bedrag van \u20ac30 maken we een voedselpakket van 10 kg<\/strong>, dat bestaat uit voedingsmiddelen die overeenkomen met de eetgewoonten van het land waar de distributie plaatsvindt. In de voedselpakketten kunnen we voedingsmiddelen terugvinden zoals dadels, linzen, rijst, suiker, olie, tarwe, …<\/p>\n

Gekocht van lokale handelaren, voorziet elk pakket een compleet gezin van 5 tot 7 personen een week lang van voedsel. In 2025 ligt de focus bijzonder op Palestina (Gaza). De pakketten worden eveneens gedistribueerd in Niger, Kenia, Ethiopi\u00eb, Bangladesh, onder Rohingya-vluchtelingen, en in Libanon, Marokko, Mali en de Westelijke Jordaanoever.<\/p>\n

Wanneer je weet dat je niet in staat zult zijn om te kunnen vasten, is het aangeraden om je Fidya voor het begin van de maand ramadan te betalen. Zo kan het ingezamelde bedrag in voedsel worden omgezet voor de behoeftigen in nood die onvoldoende voedsel hebben om hun vasten te verbreken. Het voedselhulpprogramma in de maand ramadan van Karama Solidarity begint zes maanden voor het begin van de gezegende maand. Dit stelt ons in staat om voedselpakketten te distribueren vanaf het begin van de vastenmaand, maar het is mogelijk om jouw Fidya op elk moment tijdens de Ramadan-campagne te doneren, inclusief tijdens de laatste 10 dagen.<\/p>\n

Vermenigvuldig het aantal dagen dat je niet hebt kunnen vasten met de som van \u20ac7. Mocht jouw gezondheid na 5 dagen vasten verslechteren waardoor het vasten in jouw geval verboden wordt dan bereken je je Fidya als volgt: 25 x 7 = \u20ac175 (in het geval van de maand ramadan van 30 dagen).<\/p>\n

Een Fidya is een bedrag dat uitgegeven wordt door degenen die door hun gezondheidstoestand niet kunnen vasten en die niet in staat zijn deze dagen in te halen. Het bedrag is \u20ac7 per dag voor elke niet gevaste dag (dit bedrag is vastgelegd door de Raad van de Islamitische Theologen in Belgi\u00eb volgens de huidige kosten van levensonderhoud). De Kaffara is voor degenen die niet vasten of hun vasten vrijwillig onderbreken zonder geldige reden. Als compensatie moet men 60 dagen na elkaar vasten zonder onderbreking. Indien men niet in staat is dit te doen, moet men een compensatie betalen. Dit heet Kaffara en is gelijk aan 60 (aantal niet gevaste dagen) x \u20ac7 ofwel \u20ac420.<\/p>\n

Kinderen, ouderen, zieken, zwangere vrouwen of vrouwen die borstvoeding geven, reizigers en alle mensen die om medische redenen niet mogen vasten, hebben het recht om niet mee te doen aan de maand ramadan. Menstruerende vrouwen mogen ook niet vasten maar moeten wel de gemiste vastendagen later inhalen (zoals in het geval van zwangerschap, borstvoeding, tijdelijke ziekte, reizen, …).<\/p>\n
